What's Going On

You know how sometimes you plan on having a relaxed summer and then suddenly the summer is almost gone and you haven't relaxed at all? You might be suffering from Summertime Disease, like my whole family. We weren't doing any camps but VBS but some how summer just slipped away. We haven't even gone to the beach yet!!!! 

   The Kittens have been doing good. But they don't seem to get the idea that they need to eat cat food. They prefer kitten milk, in any shape or form. They are SO  cute. We can't stop loving on them. 

   We hope that everyone else has had a terrific summer. Here are some pictures of our summer. 

When we were smaller

Here are some cute pictures of when we were littler. I have to post something better than that one of our kittens died. Here are some sweet pictures.

Zippy

Zippy was one of our kittens. It is a long and sad story, so I will make it short. Zippy was smaller than the others and we knew something was wrong. He wasn't eating and we tried to bottle feed him but this morning we took him to the vet and he had pneumonia and had to be put to sleep. We are all very sad now.

More Kittens

Here are some more pictures of the kittens. I am proud to announce that almost all of the them have opened their eyes! (Although these pictures are of them sleeping.) They have also played for the first time today! Here are their names. But all of them are liable to change. :)

Kittens

One day we were at our grandparent's house when we found a very sweet and loving, black and white cat, we named her Abby. We soon found out that she had 3 adorable little kittens that were only a few days old. Sadly, something happened to them. We think they got eaten. But, since they live in the country and Abby isn't spayed she has had six more kittens! We were so excited and have now taken them and Abby home. (Much to the delight of our grandparents.) So now you can look at these pictures of the kittens and Abby.

Catching Up

The Lone Ranger. We feel bad for him because he is the only boy of our 5 cousins. That is why he is called the lone ranger. He is also the oldest cousin, so he can do whatever he wants and doesn't have to hang out with us all the time. Sadly, these pictures are from Easter. It is so sad I haven't posted them yet but I don't usually do stuff with my mom's camera but I lost the USB cord from mine so now I am taking pics and posting them off of her camera. So here are some pictures from Easter. The End.

New Stuff

We have decided to do some things around here. (whoa, we do things around here?) I mean, on our blog. Dog lover has a new name, Dog ballet. And to make things easier I will 
refer to ourselves as D.B., N.G. and P.T.

Silly bandz

Has anyone heard of Silly Bandz? In Tallahassee they are the bomb. What are they? Little bracelets made out of rubber bands. When you take them off they are shapes. When you buy a pack at somewhere like CVS or Walgreens it comes with 6 different kinds and 2 of each kind. So you have 1 to keep and 1 to trade. This might not be new to you though. In Orlando kids are constantly buying and trading them. Think of any shape, or animal  at that matter, they make it. The glitter ones are cool. The newest is the muffin man, a muffin with arms and legs. These bandz are cool!

2010 color of the year: Purple

Lavender, plum, plain every color of purple on the face of the earth is now the color of the year. The most popular by far. Now is the time for purple. 2010. Now who determines this we don't know. But there are many examples of purple, for dogs and people. Here is two of them at the golden globe award winners such as Sandra Bullock, Jane Krakowski and Jennifer Garner were sporting the passionate plum tone. Also, one of my favorite websites, animalplanet.com has a whole article on purple, for pets and people. That could be a tongue twister. I should get Ginger a purple shirt, carrier, collar, and leash. Not much more to say about purple but, don't overdo it or else you will in the end look like a plum.

A new years celebration

Every new year we have a fondue party for new years eve. princess tiger goes to bed early, and the rest of the family watches a movie and then watches Dick Clark's new years eve. The ball goes down, happy new year! Then off to bed. But this new years eve was different. We invited friends over. And I will tell you step by step, how we made this new years eve special. From table settings to grape jelly meatballs, this new years eve was the best.

The cheese for cheese fondue. We dipped bread, little smokeys, and even meatballs in it.

We also had chocolate fondue, canada dry, sweet tea, strawberries (for chocolate fondue.), and yes, carrots.
It was a spectacular night we will never forget.
